CANstruction

The event is where members of the construction industry mainly architects with a few contractors and engineers gather together to building structures or sculptures out of food can goods. They will design the structure trying to figure out how to stack cans on top of each other to make a piece of art. Each team will complete of awards and bragging rights all while helping to feed the local greater Charlotte needy. At the end of the event, all of the can goods used in the structures will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank. Last year we raised 71,000 lbs of food which equates to 59,000 meals.
