!con: “Reina Curiosa (Curious Queen)”
Reina Curiosa is an interactive sculpture that celebrates curiosity through hidden doors, windows, and flower centers – each revealing miniature artworks and secret details. Blending botanical forms with Charlotte’s cityscape, it invites all ages to explore, touch, and discover. Every interaction sparks wonder, encouraging a deeper connection with both the artwork and the city it reflects.
Rocio Llusca is a mixed-media artist and fashion designer originally from Ecuador, now established in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her work is a vivid exploration of emotion, cultural identity, and unity—blending color, texture, and imagination to celebrate diversity and human connection.
In 2015, Rocio was selected as one of 20 winners of the ArtPop Street Gallery in Charlotte, with her artwork displayed across citywide media platforms. Her fashion collections have been featured on international stages, including New York Fashion Week (2017) and the Paris Fashion Show (2018).
Active in Charlotte’s creative community, she continues to present her work in local fashion and art events. Through each piece, Rocio invites viewers to experience the emotional depth and cultural richness that define her artistic vision.
