Interactive Art Installation: “STARGATE”

Jay Tettamanti is the award-winning creative mind behind CHALK RIVER LABS, a Melbourne-based studio specialising in projection sculptures that tour to light and art festivals around the world. His works merge sculpture, projection, and sound into immersive experiences that invite audiences to explore and connect.

Touring internationally, Jay’s artworks have featured at major festivals in North America including World of Winter, BLINK Cincinnati, Lights On Stratford, MAD Arts, and Enlighten Canberra in Australia. His projection sculpture Night Parrots won both the Artistic Excellence Award and People’s Choice Award at the Ephemera Festival in Townsville 2023. Through these travelling installations, Jay continues to bring large-scale, interactive art to diverse audiences, transforming public spaces into shared experiences of wonder and discovery.
