With a deep love for God and Gospel music, Christopher Ervin brought together a group of exceptionally talented singers and musicians who shared his passion, forming a choral ensemble known as Abraham’s Descendants (affectionately called AD). What began as a vision has grown into a dynamic choir featuring vocalists from North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. In just a few short years, AD has built an impressive and loyal following, earning a reputation for their precision, excellence, and signature sound that sets them apart. AD made their national debut at Bishop Hezekiah Walker’s Choirfest in 2013. In 2016, they were featured on John P. Kee’s VIP New Artist Showcase CD—an opportunity that paved the way for their first live recording, The Process, released in 2018. The album quickly became a choir favorite and broke into the Top 20 on Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart. Their sophomore project, Take 2, followed in 2020 and debuted at #3 on the iTunes Gospel/Christian charts. Ervin & AD have shared the stage with renowned artists including Michael McDonald, Nick Jonas, John P. Kee, Ricky Dillard, Jekalyn Carr, Earnest Pugh, and Avery Sunshine, among others.
