Easter Egg: “Curiosity Blooms”
Curiosity Blooms is a sculpture that brings curiosity to life. On top of the Easter egg is an open book, but instead of words, it holds a living terrarium filled with blooming plants. Flowers climb up the egg’s surface, while an intricate root system is revealed below, creating the illusion that the roots feed the plants above. This project represents how curiosity grows- it starts below the surface and unfolds into something living, evolving, and real. This sculpture asks viewers to look closer and consider roots that feed growth: questions, knowledge, imagination, and most importantly, curiosity. Curiosity Blooms is part sculpture and part living ecosystem and is a celebration of how Charlotte learns, grows, and stays curious.
Cassandra Wiselka is a creative person and a multidisciplinary artist. Her art is guided by curiosity and a desire to create things that feel both personal and expressive. A lifelong and self-described “professional hobbyist,” she has spent years exploring a wide range of mediums including crochet and fiber arts, laser cutting, painting, and digital design. She also writes poetry and has published a collection that reflects her love of storytelling through words. Cassandra brings the same spirit of creativity to her work as a non-profit event manager, designing imaginative experiences that connect people through shared moments. For her, art is as much about the process of discovery as it is about the final piece. She believes art is a chance to try, play, and tell stories in unexpected ways.
