Bhavna Mistry

!con: “The Spark of Why”

Curiosity is at the heart of both science and art, and my proposal is designed to visually celebrate that connection. The imagery draws on patterns from all aspects of STEM —forms that invite people to pause, wonder, and ask: How does this work? What does it mean? By layering scientific symbols with playful colors and unexpected compositions, the piece rewards exploration from multiple perspectives, sparking curiosity in both children and adults.

Bhavna Mistry is a seasoned visual artist with over 30 years of experience in painting and crafting. Her work spans a variety of mediums, including oil, acrylic, and polymer clay, reflecting a deep passion for both traditional and contemporary techniques.

Bhavna’s artistic journey is rooted in a lifelong fascination with color, texture, and form. Her paintings often explore themes of nature, emotion, and cultural identity, while her handcrafted sculptures and mixed media pieces showcase her skillful command of materials and intricate detail.
