Formed in the heart of the Carolinas, Contagious Blues Band has been delivering electrifying modern blues rock since 1999. Featuring founding member Junior Howell (drums/vocals) alongside Darren Watts (bass/vocals), Rich Green (keys/vocals), Charlie Baldwin (lead/slide guitar), and Eric Upton (lead/slide guitar, harmonica), this seasoned lineup brings powerhouse musicianship and high-energy performances to every stage.

Blending the spirit of traditional blues with contemporary rock influences, the band draws inspiration from artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Buddy Guy, ZZ Top, and Joe Bonamassa, creating a sound that connects with longtime blues fans and new listeners alike. Their accolades include the prestigious Beale Street Blues King Award in Memphis and a Charlotte Music Award for Best Blues Band. Representing the Charlotte Blues Society, they have performed internationally at the renowned International Blues Challenge.
